Classic Combat

Classic Combat is a mod for Minecraft 1.9.4 and 1.10.2 that reverses that was arguably one of the most annoying changes made in Minecraft 1.9 - attack cooldowns.
When you install it, Classic Combat will remove all attack cooldowns from the game, so you'll always hit for the attack value of the weapon you're using. It's 100% server compatible, mod compatible, and causes no slowdown when installed.
Classic Combat only removes cooldowns and does not affect the following:

Classic Combat only removes cooldowns and does not affect the following:
- The "swing" graphic when attacking.
- Damaged "hearts" dropped when hurting something.
- Dual wielding and use of opposing hands.
- The use of shields.
- The cooldown indicator will still appear, but will not have any effect.

Installation
Windows
- Download Forge above.
- Open the Forge installer, choose Install Client, and click OK.
- Download Classic Combat (a .jar file) above and save it to your desktop.
- Press this button combination: Windows+R
- In the window that appears, type %appdata% and press Enter.
- Open the .minecraft folder.
- Locate the mods folder. If it doesn't exist, create it (do not capitalize anything).
- Drag the Classic Combat .jar file into the mods folder. Do not extract it if given the option.
- Start your Minecraft launcher, change your profile (bottom-left dropdown box) to Forge, and play!
Mac OS X
- Download Forge above.

- Press this button combination: ⌘-Shift-G
- Type in ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft and press Enter.

- Start your Minecraft launcher, change your profile (bottom-left dropdown box) to Forge, and play!
